Elon Musk on Tuesday explained his aerospace business SpaceX could support NASA create spacesuits for its Artemis Moon mission just after the US house agency’s Inspector Normal reported that it was struggling with major challenges, earning the manned lunar landing unattainable in 2024. NASA says in its report that these delays — attributed to funding shortfalls, COVID-19 impacts, and technological problems — remaining no routine margin for supply of the two flight-completely ready spacesuits. Given the integration demands, the suits will not likely be flight-prepared till April 2025 at the earliest, says the report. In addition, by the time two flight-all set xEMUs are out there, NASA will have put in over $1 billion (approximately Rs. 7,445 crores) on the improvement and assembly of its following-technology spacesuits, it further claimed.
Hold off precludes 2024 Moon landing
